The Port Washington Police Department, along with several other area police departments, utilizes the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court system. If you have been issued a citation by any other police or sheriff's department, you need to contact that department to find out how to take care of your citation. The date and time written on your citation is the initial court date.

If you have been issued a citation by the Port Washington Police Department and wish to enter a plea of not guilty or make payment, please visit the Mid-Moraine Municipal Court website or call their office at 262-334-5700.

If you wish to appear on your initial court date to speak with the judge, or you have a mandatory court date, appear at the Port Washington City Hall, 100 W. Grand Avenue at the date and time noted on your citation. Do not go to the West Bend Municipal Court office.

If you do nothing, the Court will enter a “no contest” plea on your behalf. Judgment will be entered, and you will be required to pay the forfeiture.  If you fail to pay by the due date, the Court will intercept your State Tax refund and may issue a warrant for your arrest. Your operating privileges may also be suspended.
