Our Programs 

Our Rising Stars program gives 1st and 2nd graders the opportunity to be part of theatre within a fun, interactive, educational, and developmentally appropriate manner. At weekly rehearsals, participants will learn, practice and prepare a special choreographed song and dance that is related to the Port Youth Theatre production. The program culminates with the Rising Star performance being featured as the transition from intermission to the second act at (2) Port Youth Theatre performances.

Port Youth Theatre gives students in Grades 3rd-6th exposure to all elements of musical theatre.  They then get to apply all of the things they learn by putting on a fantastic performance at the end of this (approx) 10 week program. 

Port Teen Theatre is the next step for students in our theatre program!  Students in grades 6-11 get to continue to learn and progress in their on stage journey while getting the opportunity to perform in shows that are more suited for middle and high school students.

Our Port Summer Theatre program is a beloved tradition here in the Port Washington community. Since 1966 our department has put on an annual, high quality community theatre show. We have a talented and dedicated team that devotes an immense amount of time and effort into our Summer shows. The actors in this show are older teens and adult amateurs (many of whom grew up being a part of our youth program as well!) that put in hours of practice and preparation to bring musical theatre to life on stage in Port Washington.
