CITY CLERK’S OFFICE

SPRING ELECTION TUESDAY, APRIL 4, 2023

  • You may Apply for an Absentee Ballot on MyVote.wi.gov through March 30th.
  • In-Person Early Voting by Absentee Ballot will be held at City Hall at the City Clerk’s Office

     

    Week #1 – March 21st – March 24th from 8:00 a.m. to Noon

    Week #2 – March 27th – March 30th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

    Friday, March 31st will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     

    (NOTE: Photo ID is required to receive an absentee ballot)

     

  • Late Voter Registration period is from March 16th – March 31st and must completed In Person at the City Clerk’s Office
  • Voter Registration can also be completed on Election Day at your Polling Location prior to Voting

 

(NOTE: Proof of Residency is required to register to vote)

Mission Statement

The Election Administration is responsible for the oversight and conduction of legal and timely elections, assuring that each eligible resident is afforded the opportunity to vote.

Programs/Service Lines

  • Oversee Election Administration and support to successfully complete all required elections.
  • Provide Voter Registration to the residents.
  • Provide early In-Person Absentee Voting or Absentee Voting by Mail to residents.
  • Provide Voting for Indefinitely Confined voters in Residential Care Facilities.
  • Certify Nomination papers for Candidates running for local offices.
  • Recruit, train, and schedule Election Inspectors at all polling locations.
  • Maintenance, testing and security of city election equipment.
  • Canvass, Reconciliation and filing of required documents at the conclusion of each election including data entry of voter participation.

    • Repeat inquiries and contact with voters for voter registration and absentee voting questions and compliance issues - Continue to educate public to streamline response time and reduce repetitive interactions with voters.
